While working on the site we realized we never made an update to remind everyone that the Audible Audiobook for “Anne of Green Gables“, which is narrated by Rachel, is available. If you are not yet a member at Audible, you are able to get this audiobook for free. Be sure to head over to their website for more information. We also updated our site with additional coverage of this exciting project. We added the high definition screencaptures of the official on-set and behind the scenes featurette in our gallery and the video can be found in our video archive. Further, you can find a new promotional image in our gallery.
For the past few weeks we have been working behind the scenes on the site and we are very excited to announced the launch of our brand new video archive. Our new archive already has over 750 videos including over 100 videos of the “Doctor Strange” coverage. Our new video archive is more user friendly and it’s mobile friendly so you are able to watch the videos on your mobile devices. It also gives us the chance to reorganize, make it easier to browse and to replace videos with better quality. We will continue to transfer videos as time permits and our old video archive will remain online until then. The launch of our new video archive also gave us a chance to update our site with the recent “Doctor Strange” promotional tour, including many great press junket interviews, all the featurettes, red carpet interviews and more.
We want to share a few of our favorites from the “Doctor Strange” promotional tour: Rachel playing a game with Honest Trailers/Screen Junkies and Operation with E!, participating in a magic trick, talking about meeting the Obamas and Rachel’s adorable reaction (‘Alright, alright, alright’) when a journalist compared her to Matthew McConaughey.
Rachel and her sister and make-up artist Kayleen McAdams are featured in the current issue (December 2) of The Hollywood Reporter. We have added the digital magazine scans, photoshoot outtakes and HD screencaptures of the behind the scenes video in our gallery. We also added the BTS video in our video archive, which is definitely worth the watch. Rachel and Kayleen play a game of ‘How Well Do You Know?’.
Rachel McAdams has played many iconic roles over the years — from the headstrong Allie in The Notebook to the manipulative Regina George in Mean Girls — but what would she be doing if she weren’t constantly shape-shifting?
During a game of “How Well Do You Know?” with her makeup artist, who also happens to be her sister, Kayleen McAdams, the actress revealed that she would lead a much simpler life — as a farmer.
The pair, who are featured in THR’s Beauty Issue, must have discussed the possibility in the past, because Kayleen had no problem coming up with the answer. As for knowing what Rachel eats for breakfast, that’s a different story.
“Kayleen has a very calming effect on me,” says Rachel. “Spending two hours with her beforehand sets me for the night.” Responds Kayleen: “I like to know I can help calm you before you go out there because there’s a lot coming at you.”
Rachel made an appearance on Good Morning America earlier this week to promote “Doctor Strange” alongside her lovely co-star Tilda Swinton. We have added the interview in our video archive and screencaptures in our gallery. The interview was prerecorded when the cast was in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Rachel stopped by CP24 Breakfast morning show yesterday in Toronto to promote “Doctor Strange“. She looked lovely in a white and black dress. We have added the interview in our video archive and the official stills and screencaptures can be found in our gallery. Rachel talked about the movie, Toronto and more. The movie will be released next week, on November 4th in Canada.
Rachel stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier today to promote “Doctor Strange“. The episode was pre-recorded yesterday and will air today in the US. Be sure to check your local listings for the time. The official previews can be found in our video archive, as well as the official stills and be sure to come back later for the full interview coverage.
The world premiere for the movie is tonight, at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre. Be sure to tune in to the livestream at Marvel’s official youtube channel and come back later for our coverage.
