Rachel attended the 102nd White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) earlier this evening in Washington, DC alongside (Boston Globe) reporters Sacha Pfeiffer, Mike Rezendes, Walter Robinson and Matt Carroll. “Spotlight” director Tom McCarthy and screenwriter Josh Singer also attended the dinner. Rachel walked the red carpet alongside Sacha and looked stunning in a black Armani dress. The annual WHCD (a.k.a. #NerdProm) is hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association. Rachel attended the “Spotlight” premiere in Tokyo, alongside author Marie Kondo (‘The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing’), earlier today and we have added the first images in our gallery. The movie is currently playing in theaters in Japan and is available on DVD/Blu-Ray/Demand in the U.S. right now.
Rachel arrived in Japan earlier this week to promote “Spotlight“. She attended a press conference for the movie yesterday in Tokyo. It’s the first time Rachel is visiting Japan to promote a movie. We have added the first high quality images in our gallery. She is expected to attend the premiere on Saturday (not Friday, as previously reported). The movie will be released tomorrow, on April 15 in Japan.
Award season 2015-2016 officially wrapped up this past Sunday with the 88th Annual Academy Awards. It was a big weekend for “Spotlight“, the movie won Best Picture at both the Oscars and the Independent Spirit Awards. Rachel attended the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party after the 88th Annual Academy Awards last night. She changed her dress for a beautiful Naeem Khan dress with NIWAKA jewelry. She brought her parents Lance and Sandra McAdams and her brother Daniel and sister-in-law as her red carpet date to the after party. Inside the venue Rachel was seen with her “The Notebook” co-star Gena Rowlands and Rachel “embraced her and I got very emotional” according to Amy Kaufman from the Los Angeles Times. Rachel attended the 88th Annual Academy Awards last night. She was one of the presenters of the night and presented the Best Cinematography award to Emmanuel Lubezki, with whom she worked on “To The Wonder“, alongside actor Michael B. Jordan. She brought her mother Sandra as her red carpet date. Rachel is wearing a August Getty dress, Niwaka jewels, and Stuart Weitzman shoes. “Spotlight” was nominated for 6 awards and took home Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. Congratulations to the cast & crew! Rachel was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the movie, but lost the award to Alicia Vikander.
