According to Channing’s website Rachel & Channing will kick off the US promo tour this week.
The first interviews to promote “The Vow” were also released. Rezirb.com published an article with quotes from director Michael Sucsy, Channing Tatum and Rachel about the movie. Be sure to read the interview in our press archive.
Scotsman.com released a brand new interview of Rachel, we assume taken during her press days in London, earlier today. Keep an eye on “The Vow” tag in our library, we will try to add all the new interviews of Rachel to promote the movie in our press archive as soon as possible.
Rachel McAdams, star of new romantic weepie The Vow, is a beguiling mix of open charm and steely determination. Just the right qualities to take you the top in the film business
Rachel McAdams deserves an Oscar for making us cry in public. There was The Time Traveller’s Wife in which her love for her husband (Eric Bana) was romantically challenged due to his incessant time-zone zapping; followed by The Notebook, opposite a then rising star, Ryan Gosling in which two people from different sides of the tracks were united in a touching full-blown “I can’t live without you” love. This role catapulted the actress from relative obscurity to the dizzy heights of Hollywood, with her name suddenly on the lips of top agents.

Rachel is gracing the cover of this February’s Glamour Magazine (US) to promote her upcoming movie “The Vow” with Channing Tatum. The magazine will hit newsstand January 10. We added the cover and first outtakes in our gallery. Sorry for the delay, but we were on vacation and we just returned.
We also added the interview in our library, Rachel talks about “The Vow“, her costars and more.
She’s smart and gorgeous, yet manages to be the most un-celeblike celeb we’ve ever met. What’s Rachel McAdams’ secret? Good friends, a “normal” life, an ex who adores her…and one really big knife. Plus, check out Rachel’s romantic cover-shoot gallery for Glamour’s February 2012 issue.
Rachel McAdams is just so cool. When I meet the 33-year-old actress for tea at a London hotel, she’s wearing a loose sweatshirt, and her hair, in a dozen tiny buns, makes her look kind of adorably crazy. “Oh, this is just how I dry my hair!” she says, laughing, without the least bit of self-consciousness. And that easy charm is trademark low-key McAdams: She does not frequent parties sponsored by giant fashion houses. She has no perfume deal. She still lives in Toronto in the same house she bought after a hilarious turn in Mean Girls years ago

In this year’s Midnight in Paris, he tweaks Rachel McAdams’s good-girl image, reimagining her as a socially ambitious, fast-talking nag. “I wanted her to play the bad girl, the girl who’s sexy enough to be negative and still interesting,” Allen told me over the phone this spring. “But I’m crazy about Rachel. I have great adoration and lust and interest in all of the women in my films. It would thrill me to go out with all of them.”

Rachel McAdams: The Romantic
Woody Allen wrote a movie for her. Diane Keaton is her biggest fan. She’s fronted blockbuster romcoms, seduced mouthwatering stars, and made girls old and young believe that we, too, will get swept up in an epic love story one day. Tom Shone finds Rachel McAdams 2,168 miles from the L.A. limelight
On working with Owen Wilson: “It’s definitely a different dynamic from the last time we were together. It wasn’t as fun being mean. I love that Woody likes good guys to be good guys and bad guys to be bad guys. Owen seemed to respond really well when I was a really bad guy.”
On finding inspiration in her parents’ marriage: “[They are] Still together and still in love. I’m very blessed that way. I had a great example of love in front of me, and that’s probably what makes me such a romantic, because I’ve seen it firsthand.”
On her expectations for relationships: “You grow up and you assume that everyone is like that, and you quickly realize that they’re not, and then you have those days when you wonder if you’re going to find it for yourself. It’s such a hard thing to find. I think it was more that realization that rocked me.”

Rachel will be gracing the cover of Elle Magazine’s June cover and thanks to MSN.com we now have a larger preview of the cover as well as an excerpt of the interview. We reported before with a preview of the cover and interview. We expect the full interview and magazine scans this week.
In the June issue of Elle, Rachel McAdams, who stars opposite Owen Wilson in Woody Allen’s upcoming rom-com, “Midnight In Paris,” opens up about what draws her to certain roles, admitting that the world almost missed out on her hilariously evil portrayal of Regina George. “With ‘Mean Girls,’ I originally auditioned for the part that Lindsay Lohan played,” says McAdams. “I wouldn’t have seen myself playing Regina at all. But when I read the script, I thought, ‘Oh, this part is way more fun …‘”
At heart, though, McAdams is a true romantic, and what she really loves about acting is imagining she’s in another world. “When Billie Holiday comes on, I can’t help but be transported,” she says. “I’m sure it wasn’t as romantic then, but that’s the wonderful part of my job: dressing up and walking down the street in New York or Toronto, pretending I’m in the ’40s.”
Collider sat down with Rachel yesterday during the first day of press to talk about “Midnight in Paris“. Today they already published a part of the interview were Rachel was talking about her upcoming projects. She officially confirmed her cameo in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows“, and even confirmed she did some filming in London as well – we already saw set photos of her in Strasbourg – she also talks about “The Vow” and the Terrence Malick project.
Was it fun to get to play Irene Adler again? Were there things about her that you wanted to explore a little more?
McAdams: Yeah. I just have a small cameo in this one, but it was nice to revisit. It’s why I’ve always thought I would like to do television. You get really intimate with your character. Often with film, I find that you’re just really getting to know a person. They’re just starting to sink in, and then you wrap the film. So, it was nice to get to bring her back and have time to meditate on her a bit more. I liked that exercise.
Is The Vow your next film?
McAdams: We finished The Vow after Midnight in Paris, and then I went and did a Terrence Malick film after that.
What was Terrence Malick like to work with?
McAdams: He was wonderful and so inspiring. He has a very different way of working and I think it really services a real honesty and beauty in his films. It was a great experience, as an actor. You have to be very honest and very vulnerable, and take a leap and just hope someone will catch you, and he does. You can just let yourself go and let him take you where he’s going to take you, and trust that it will be interesting and compelling. You don’t have to do a lot, in a weird way. It was a great experience.
