She was one of the presenters of the night and presented the Best Cinematography award to Emmanuel Lubezki, with whom she worked on “To The Wonder“, alongside actor Michael B. Jordan. She brought her mother Sandra as her red carpet date. Rachel is wearing a August Getty dress, Niwaka jewels, and Stuart Weitzman shoes. “Spotlight” was nominated for 6 awards and took home Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. Congratulations to the cast & crew! Rachel was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the movie, but lost the award to Alicia Vikander. Rachel attended the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards yesterday, held in Santa Monica. “Spotlight” took home the Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Robert Altman Award. The Robert Altman Award is given to the film’s director, casting director and ensemble cast which includes Rachel and her co-stars Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced it’s third batch of Oscar presenters and Rachel is among them. Rachel received an Oscar nomination earlier this year for her work in “Spotlight” and revealed she will bring her mother as her red carpet date. The 88th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 28.
Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin announced today a third slate of presenters for the 88th Oscars telecast. The Oscars, hosted by Chris Rock, will air live Oscar® Sunday, February 28, on ABC.
The presenters, including several Oscar winners, are: Patricia Arquette, Abraham Attah, Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, Louis C.K., Common, Russell Crowe, Chris Evans, Jennifer Garner, Louis Gossett, Jr., Michael B. Rachel supported her “Spotlight” director Tom McCarthy last night by attending the 68th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards. McCarthy was nominated for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film award, but lost to Alejandro González Iñárritu (The Revenant). Rachel took the stage to present McCarthy his nominee medallion during the award ceremony. She wore a Michael Kors dress with Brian Atwood heels. DGA President Paris Barclay today announced the presenters for the 68th Annual DGA Awards. The ceremony, to be hosted by Jane Lynch, will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Rachel attended the 31st Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) yesterday evening were she received her American Riviera Award, alongside her “Spotlight” co-stars Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo was unable to attend the tribute in person. The tribute Q&A panel was moderated by the SBIFF director Roger Durling and presented by “Spotlight” director Tom McCarthy.
